If you don't bring the above required items,
you will not be able to test for your new, or upgrade, license !

The cost for a new license or an upgrade is $15.
Walk-ins are allowed but it would help greatly if you would pre-register.

To register or if you have questions, please contact Jimmy Mercer at N5WDH@yahoo.com

Testing will be performed at the Salvation Army office building on Highway 201 North.
After turning off Highway 5 North, the Salvation Army office building will be the church building on the right side of the road, immediately before their outlet store.
Enter the building using the basement door, on the south side of the building, near the back. (look for the cars with the 'extra' antennas!)

How to become an ARRL Volunteer Examiner

This note about studying for an Amateur Radio Exam.
Practice Tests provided on the Internet are just that, a "TEST".
A Practice Test should NEVER be used as Study material, that's why they are called "Practice Test" and not "Practice Study".
If you want to test how well you are doing in your studying, then by all means use a practice test to measure what you have learned.
Be warned, because you score high on a particular practice test, does not necessarily mean you will pass the actual exam. QRZ.com has 100 individual practice exams (for each License Class) to test yourself. If you can score more than 80% on a bulk of these tests, you have a reasonable chance of passing the actual exam.
